Iconic Live bolsters digital capabilities with acquisition of Future Assembly

Thursday, 21st November– Full-service event management, technical production and corporate hospitality company, Iconic Live, today announced that it has acquired the rapidly growing events management system provider, Future Assembly, to bolster its existing end-to-end service offering, Delegate Connect.

Future Assembly is an event experience software platform that has been built to service events and conferences of all sizes and their client list includes TechSauce Global Summit, which is a large technology conference held in Asia that has over 15,000 delegates attending with 400 speakers over 2 days.

The acquisition firmly establishes Iconic Live’s Technical Production division as a true end-to-end solutions provider, delivering the hardware, software, people and processes for corporate, medical and industry conferences and events around the world.

“Creating iconic experiences is at the core of everything we do and the acquisition of Future Assembly will provide us with a powerful ‘single source of truth’ of event data, enhancing our ability to deliver a one-stop event solution for our clients,” Iconic Live Director, Jacob Thomas said.

The holistic solution is a completely modular, customisable experience tailored to clients’ specific needs. Delegate Connect can manage every aspect of the event or provide a single aspect of an event, such as web-casting and live streaming.

The acquisition represents a game changer for the industry.

“Our technology simplifies this landscape and with the acquisition of Future Assembly, the event or conference can use the Delegate Connect platform to manage every aspect of the technical production, enabling a better delegate experience, greater efficiency and improved scalability.”

The Delegate Connect toolset comprises integrations across every touchpoint of an event or conference including information management, live-streaming, web casting, social media integrations, digital signage, agenda creation, turn by turn navigation in the mobile application, supplier management and event design. It is built for globally scalable events and has multi-lingual capabilities.

Brendan White, co-founder of Future Assembly, says the acquisition is a positive move for the company he founded with Ben Richardson and Andrew Chin in 2015.

Iconic Live has been involved in over 600 events in more than 23 countries including USA, UK, the Asia-Pacific region and Europe. Their client list includes Adobe, Origin Energy, Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and AT Kearney.
